THE WORLD OF CELSIA

The World of Celsia is a board game designed to raise awareness about socio-economic inequalities in education and careers, especially within STEAM fields. Inspired by articles showing how access to knowledge is often shaped by financial background rather than actual ability, the game targets 18–23-year-olds—those entering university and the job market. It highlights how limited resources can restrict opportunities, while wealth can unfairly ease access. Combining physical components (player boards with different socio-economic profiles) and digital features (character assignments and event management), the game offers an experience that not only illustrates the problem but also encourages reflection and the search for solutions.
